  3. Monthly management staff meetings to discuss strategies, policies, and procedure changes and implement them swiftly to your security team
  4. 24-hour communications and a Special Operations Response Team for any threatening situation (disgruntled employees or non-employee threats made against you and / or your staff)
  5. Replacement of any officer after being notified of a problem or emergency within 90 minutes at the management’s discretion
  6. Provide paid services for a 30-day period without a contract

Traditionally, the industry has only provided “warm bodies” to fill a post.  This has resulted in substandard performance and customer service.  Calusa Security will not take a contract that forces us to provide less than outstanding performance. HOME WATCH SERVICES

Private Residential Security Services / Vacant Home Check

A uniformed Security officer in a marked patrol car can do the following a la carte services for you:

Exterior Inspection

  • Lighting survey
  • Landscaping security survey
  • Windows and doors checked for tampering and damage
  • Overall appearance and health of landscaping
  • Pool cleanliness and equipment inspections
  • Wall/pool surface cracks, leaks, and water intrusion
  • Customers will be notified of schedule of contractors and photographs of work done

Interior Inspection

  • Air Condition System – We will check that the A/C is working properly.
  • Electrical Inspection – inspect your electrical panel for tripped circuit breakers to critical systems.
  • Plumbing Inspection
  • We will check your home for obvious mold, mildew, and internal water leaks.
  • We’ll run your dishwasher and garbage disposal. Next, we’ll check your basic plumbing and eliminate stale drain water by running water through your sinks, tubs and showers. Lastly, we’ll disinfect and give your toilets a good flush to prevent dried gaskets and water rings.
  • Leak Inspection and Water Intrusion
  • At each home watch inspection, we check the ceilings for any obvious leaks or moisture damage.
  • After checking the interior, we will inspect your exterior for any newly formed cracks or gaps that will inevitably let water in.
  • Appliance Inspection
  • We will check your refrigerator, freezer and wine coolers for proper operation.
  • Start and drive car at agreed upon intervals.
  • Check battery charge and fluids
  • Mail Retrieval
  • Severe Weather Services:
  • Customers will be notified of any severe weather conditions

Concealed Carry Certification/Combat Handgun Level I

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a Florida CCW course completion certificate. This familiarization course consists of classroom and live fire range time. Topics covered include:

Close Quarter Handgun Level II

This course is an introduction to basic firearms CQC techniques, and is a good basic course against sudden, violent and often surprise attacks. On this course you will learn basic CQC Close Quarter Combat techniques using handguns.

You must have attended and successfully completed a basic firearms course including shooting proficiency before attempting this course.

The topics covered include:

  • Pre-Violence Indicators
  • Basic CQC
  • Stance and movement
  • Introduction to Close Quarter Handgun work
  • Basic draw and weapon handling at close range
  • Shooting
  • Reloading
  • Clearance / Stoppage drills
  • Tactical reloads

Close Quarter Handgun Level III

This course is a continuation of the basic firearms CQC techniques, and is a good course against sudden, violent and often surprise attacks. On this CQC Close Quarter Combat course you will learn advanced techniques using handguns and simple hand-to-hand techniques.

You must have attended and successfully completed our Close Quarter Handgun Level I firearms course before attempting this course.

The topics covered include:

Disaster Training

This course offers a comprehensive overview of the knowledge, methodologies, tools, and resources needed to establish a state of preparedness for times of emergencies, crises, and natural disasters. It’s the perfect place to start for the beginner and novice, and with the wealth of information covered, it’s a great way for people with intermediate preparedness experience to affirm their knowledge base and learn a host of new things. Apart from a class jam packed with important, useful information and best practices to develop and maintain a state of preparedness, students will receive an outline checklist of equipment for Sheltering in Place, when to move and the contents of an Evacuation / Bugout Bag.
